Guidewire Software Inc. have announced the appointment of Mike Rosenbaum as new Chief Executive Officer. Rosenbaum formerly spent more than a decade at Salesforce, ultimately rising to the position of Executive Vice President.
In order to make way for Rosenbaum, previous CEO and Guidewire co-founder Marcus Ryu transitions to become Chairman of its Board of Directors.
“Mike’s experience in leading product development and go-to-market strategy at the world’s leading cloud enterprise software company make him the ideal leader to accelerate our progress.” Ryu explains. “In addition to his leadership credentials, I am gratified that Mike so clearly evinces our values of integrity, rationality, and collegiality. My own journey with Guidewire continues in a new role, and I am eager to support him and the Guidewire team in the service of our customers for years to come.”
As Salesforce EVP, Rosenbaum notably brought to fruition many cloud product developments mirroring his strategic appoint, as Guidewire seeks to solidify their cloud offerings.
